Working Dogs
What would
our farm be without our dogs?
Livestock
Guard Dogs
We have three livestock guard dogs, Luke, Sarah
and Anna. Luke is a Sharplannec. He is a territory guarder and
keeps a constant check on our perimeter. Sarah is a
Great Pyrenees. Anna is a Pyr cross. Sara and Anna stay with the sheep. They are a great team and keep the coyote, stray dogs and
deer off of our property and away from our livestock

Border
Collies
We got our first Border Collie, Annie Weasel, in 1979. (What a
great dog she was!) Since then, dogs that we have bred have been
working livestock, competing in obedience and agility, participating
in search and rescue, working as therapy dogs, appearing
in plays, chasing geese and more. Needless to say, they have also
been loving and loyal members of their families.
See our
current pack of dogs below. They can be found working goats or
sheep, chasing geese, playing soccer, herding the cat or curled
up in the kitchen chewing on a bone. They are ready for any job...no
matter how big or small.
Our
pups are whelped and raised in our kitchen with lots of socialization
and TLC. They get to romp on the farm and go to the barn to do
chores. Our puppy buyers must have read Jean Donaldson's Culture
Clash and Ian Dunbar's books. The puppies are temperament
tested at 49 days, before they go to their new homes. Contact
us if you are interested in a pup.
